The In-Home Caffeine Experience.

Here are our 8 ideas for creating your own Coffee Station:

1.  The Built-In, Pull-Out Station

The ultimate luxury is designing your kitchen with a top of the line built-in coffee maker. Brands like Smeg, Miele, Gaggenau or Thermador, just to name a few, offer great products. However simply installing a great coffee maker doesn’t really offer you the full Coffee Station experience. We suggest you have a pull-out shelf designed below your gourmet coffee machine as a way to create not only a delicious cup of brew but give you an efficient way to have a station area to accommodate your favorite coffee accoutrements.

2.  The Counter Coffee Station

Many kitchens have a section of the counter that just seems to collect things…mail, newspapers, magazines. Empty that counter, find an alternative place to toss the misc. items and transform that counter space into a coffee station. Use a placemat or a grouping of trays to display your machines, mugs and coffee accessories.

3.  Furniture Coffee Station

Repurposing old furniture is a brilliant and creative way to make your own coffee station. Simply repurpose a piece of furniture, an old bureau has enough counter space to hold a full-on coffee station on the top and the drawers become an excellent place to store cups, saucers, gadgets, and accessories. Bonus points for painting it a fun color!

4.  The Mug Display Station

Do you have a mug collection? Try hanging a shelf on the wall and placing a cart under the shelves. The shelves offer a great space to show off your collection and the cart is a great set up for providing a working station to brew your favorite cup of joe.

5.  The Hidden Coffee Station

Just like an appliance garage, a hidden coffee station keeps the lines of your kitchen clean, but when the door opens, it reveals your own caffeine hideaway.

6.  Coffee on Wheels

Think cocktail carts of the 50’s turned into a retro-styled coffee cart that you can easily move from place to place. Morning coffee on the terrace, afternoon coffee in the great room, evening coffee in the study.

7.  Urban-Loft Inspired Coffee Station

Not interested in installing traditional shelves. Try a more industrial look by installing a metal rod equipped with S-hooks where you hang your mugs from the handles and place baskets on the counter below to hold your accessories.

8.  Art-Infused Coffee Station

Decorate your coffee station with a fun piece of art that reflects your design taste. Once you pick a corner or a cart for a coffee station, there’s no better way to personalize it than with a piece of art that speaks to you. Just think of starting your day with a lighthearted art piece that brightens your day.
